We are looking for

Content manager (Remote, Part-Time)

NM Art & Design is seeking a thoughtful and imaginative Content Manager to help us communicate with the world — clearly, subtly, and professionally. This is a remote, part-time position for someone with a strong aesthetic sense, editorial flair, and exceptional attention to detail.

More than a writer, we’re looking for a proactive collaborator — someone who can turn ideas into words, collect and structure content from various sources, and ensure our voice remains consistent and resonant across all platforms.

Your Responsibilities

Website Content

  • Write texts about artists and collections (based on input from artists, curators, and the team)

  • Create and adapt content for events, exhibitions, and news

  • Collaborate with the web developer to tailor content for the website

Newsletters

  • Develop topics, copywriting, and contribute to visual direction

  • Produce at least 4 newsletters per month (event announcements, stories about artists and works, updates, and themed digests)

  • Gather information from the team and artists to create timely, engaging content

Catalogues & Presentations

  • Write content for catalogues, PDF presentations, and fair/event descriptions

  • Collaborate with the graphic designer on narrative flow and tone of voice

  • Collect missing data and descriptions from artists and colleagues

Copywriting for Instagram

  • Prepare texts for posts: from exhibition announcements to behind-the-scenes stories and features on works and artists

  • Work closely with the visual team to ensure text aligns with imagery

  • Suggest themes, formats, and storylines that reflect the philosophy of the brand

Editing & Tone of Voice

  • Maintain a cohesive brand voice across all channels

  • Adjust tone and language to fit the format (professional, warm, artistic)

  • Review and refine texts to match their purpose and context

Who You Are

  • A strong writer and editor in both English and Russian

  • Familiar with the language and context of contemporary art and design

  • Visually literate, with a good eye for aligning words and imagery

  • Able to structure content from scattered materials and synthesize complex information

  • Proactive and communicative — not afraid to ask, clarify, follow up

  • Responsible with deadlines and flexible with tasks

  • Experience in art/design/media projects is a strong plus

Why Join Us?

We’re looking for someone who will become an essential voice in how we tell our story — shaping the way our gallery speaks to the world. You’ll work closely with a small, inspired team that values clarity, aesthetics, and thoughtful communication. This is a chance to be part of a growing international platform at the intersection of contemporary art, design, and editorial culture. Your words will not only inform, but inspire.
